I had The Deuce, a half pound burger with bacon, jalapeno crunch, Swiss and pepper jack cheese... it was AMAZING!! The burger was char grilled, cooked a perfect medium, and was absolutely delicious. The fries were seasoned well and the staff was friendly and fast (even with a full bar!). If I come through Gering again, this will be where I eat and have a couple drinks.
First time eating here, but not the last. We got lucky, being Thursday, we had the beer, bacon, and cheese Sloppy Joes. It was fantastic! The folks there know how to serve great food! Can't wait to drop by again. Excellent food!
If you're into dive bars, this is your place. Spent time with a great mix of travelers and locals. The vibe was cool. Loved the trombones hanging from the ceiling, especially the one that was inexplicably flattened paper-thin. The bartenders were friendly and the beer was cold. Great spot.
Stopped overnight in Gering on the way to the Badlands National Park, had a great time in the Union Bar. Food was good, service was excellent and the company was really good too. We definitely recommend it! Adam & Julie from England

This is a great place to sit and relax, sometimes it get busy, but the bartenders always do there best to serve people in a timely manner. It is not for women that are jealous, the bartenders are great people, friendly, honest, and try hard. A great hangout for single men to find friends, I sure have.
We are traveling tourists and spending the night in Gerin Ne made tis place our choice for refreshments this evening. We hit it right out of the park by getting lucky and having Angies as our server. She was professional helpful funny accommodating and patient. Choices for beverages are plentiful the bar food is good and the staff is over the top good
Our server was so kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome. My husband had the Tuesday special which was a triple cheeseburger and sweet potato fries that he thoroughly enjoyed. I chose to take the server's suggestion and had the Piggy bowl. It is Mac and cheese tipped with pulled pork, jalapeno chips, and BBQ sauce. It was fantastic!! The bar was clean, there was great music playing in the background, and the table set up was simple and comfortable. We will definitely be going back!
